Who Is Court Wood

Court Wood is a Christian evangelist who has been helping to feed the hungry in the United States, in Jesus' Name, and spreading the message of the sufferings of our brothers and sisters in Christ throughout the world. He founded In Jesus' Name Ministries for this purpose in 1986. Court and his wife Sandy have traveled overseas many times to witness firsthand, the struggles and hardships of our fellow believers.

Even though the Christians overseas have suffered far worse conditions than you or I, they posses a faith that is very strong. Many of these believers go to bed hungry and live as outcasts for just believing in Jesus. Court has sought to tell others about the plight of these strong Christians. Court believes that if the Body of Christ here in the United States knew about the conditions our brothers and sisters are facing everyday they would begin to act; and relationships would be established that would benefit both members of the Body of Christ. Court has found that when a suffering church or believer receives a gift from another Christian the first thing they do is to glorify and praise God.

One church in Russia when presented with a gift fell on their knees and praised and thanked God for 30 minutes before they looked to see how much the gift was! The responses have been overwhelming. These Christian churches are so blessed that other believers so far away thought enough of their situation to send a gift. After the churches receive the gift they earnestly pray for the donor. They pray everyday for the donor and there families. Imagine them praying for you and I here in America while they are suffering and in poverty!
