Carrying the Torch
Continued

Men of God like you, Father Marcel, Brother Richard, and many others, have all been a tremendous support for our family.  I am mentioning this to express God's unfailing, matchless and gracious love and faithfulness in choosing me, the most unworthy person, and giving me the wonderful privilege of laboring for His kingdom, giving me the company of such wonderful saints as you all.

It would be a blessing to our ministry if you could pray about the 4 requests listed below:

1.       Please continue praying for the Old Age elders home.  There are hundreds homeless, neglected and orphaned Old Age elders in our churches as well as in the Koya Tribal villages.  It is our extended vision to see them all provided with a place to stay, and food for the rest of their lives.  We do not want to see them labor in fields for daily wages in their 60's and 70's, when they are supposed to be taken care of by their families.  Right now we are providing a facility, food and clothing for 17 old age elders, but are lacking financial resources.  For the last few years God have been faithful in providing for the Old Age home on a daily basis but we have no regular funding which is very much needed.

2.      Due to the lack of finances for the two years, we have been unable to complete the construction of the church build for Pastor Yesupadam, a faithful servant of God.  We consider this to be urgent due to the continuous rising prices of building materials.  The prices have almost doubled since the construction began.  Pastor Yesupadam started the construction by faith and was only able, with the contributions of the church members, to reach roof level.  The total needed for completion is $3660 dollars ($733  for Cement,  $1688 for Iron bars, $500 for Labor, and the rest for Metal and misc.)

3.       Please continue praying for Grace Victory (my sister) who be will taking a Screening test on March 28th conducted by Indian Government.  We are looking forward to her help in medical ministry among the tribals.

4.       Need prayer for the coming academic school year project we will be working on setting up in the tribal area that God has given us a vision for.  We will be focusing on Tribal children who are living in an unreached, impoverished area that cannot afford a good education.  We also need committed teachers who share the same vision towards the lost, neglected and orphaned children. We also need financial resources to construct the  school and a home for the children on the property.
Thank you so very much,
With most regards and prayer,
Yours son in Christ,
Vimal Kishan
