Most people think of the first century as the age of the martyrs. When we think of persecution, we tend to think of the book of Acts, and martyrs like Stephen, the disciples, and the apostle Paul. But what many Christians in America don’t realize is that more Christians were actually martyred in the 20th century than in all preceding centuries combined! As we are seeing an increase in the global persecution of Christians, it is now more important than ever that we follow our Lord’s command to love one another, help one another, pray for one another, and bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2; 1 John 3:16-18). First and foremost, In Jesus’ Name Ministries seeks to glorify God in every aspect of ministry. Secondly, In Jesus’ Name Ministries exists to fulfill three main purposes: helping our brothers and sisters who are persecuted for their faith and in need of food, clothing, shelter, and medical care; bringing American Christians into a relationship with our persecuted brethren overseas; and finally, educating and informing the American church about the ongoing crisis of persecution, calling them to awaken to the command of our Lord to love and help our brethren in need. In Jesus’ Name Ministries is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All gifts are used as designated, and 100% of every designated gift is sent as requested.
